The quarter-end report
The whole of track seven against the clock: rows with V, a column with Ctrl-v and I, ragged ends with $A, a highlight rescued with o, and an operator for the last doubled word.
Friday, 4:00 p.m. The report goes to the investors at five. The final export has arrived, fresh from the accountant's system: twenty orders, three test rows that crept back in, and a header that took on your names from this morning, all but one. With it, the accountant's last list: ids with Q3-, the import format with its semicolons, and the notes tidied.
One hour, two files, every edge of the highlighter.
Warm-up from earlier chapters
Two from earlier chapters, from memory, before the new idea. Two wrong tries show the answer.
Every edge, on one card
The narrow tip for a stretch with no name (v), the wide edge for whole rows (V), the rectangle for a column (Ctrl-v with I or A), its edge pulled out to every line's end ($A), c and r over a block, o for the other end and gv for the last mark. And when the change will be repeated: an operator, so the stamp works.
Stage 1 · The rows

Stage 2 · The import format
4:25. The import tool's two rules: the last column is called status, not order_status (the one name the accountant's system lost), and every line, header included, ends in a semicolon.

Stage 3 · The notes
4:45. The report's notes: the three notes become quotes (> in front). Then you start highlighting the function's body for its indentation and, mid-stroke, see you began a line too low: the highlight is still up, so fix its start rather than starting over, and indent all three lines. Last, a doubled the.
